Learn about gut health and how to use food as medicine. With a focus on nourishing long term gut health and a healthy microbiome, we will discuss why the gut is so important and cover daily routines and nutrition to keep it functioning optimally. This class will combine lecture, cooking and a discussion as we enjoy our meal. Together we will make butternut squash, bone broth soup; tabbouleh-style winter salad with apples, kale and walnuts; mejadra - a lentil and grain dish with probiotic rich yogurt, and grass-fed kafta - spiced meatballs and we'll discuss how each dish encourages a healthy gut.
