The Local Music Scene is a rotating cast of some of the best improvisers in the Twin Cities. They use live music performed by local musicians as inspiration for improvised comedic scenes. This months guest is Leslie Vincent. Known for her soulful stylings and riveting vocal performances, Leslie Vincent is just another manic pixie dream girl playing the ukulele. She's sung at the Dakota Jazz Club, The Surf Ballroom, Troubadour Wine Bar, The Warming House, Can Can Wonderland, and across the Midwest. Always one to overpack her schedule, she's also an actor about town, performing at Park Square Theatre, History Theatre, Old Log Theatre, Artistry, and right here in the Bryant-Lake Bowl with yearly showings of Women's History Month & A Very Die Hard Christmas. Leslie dreams of creating as much art, music, comedy, and theatre as she can. Her first jazz album, These Foolish Things, will be out in February. You can find more information on her website www.lesliedellavincent.com.
