The Boys of Kingsbridge
This film presents four unique perspectives of an important day in American History. If you want to know what it was like at ground zero on 9/11, this film will give you first hand, eyewitness accounts from my buddies, Eddie, Mike, Danny and Brendan. But it is much more than just a moment to moment narrative of the events. It shows the humanity of these guys through the lens of our childhood together.
We all grew up in a wonderful neighborhood in the Bronx know as Kingsbridge where we learned the benefits of community and importance of personal responsibility. Heroes are those who take charge in a crisis and some of these guys became heroes on that day. Sept 11 2001 can be looked at as a terrible day of loss but it can also be looked at a day of heroes. While most of us sat on our couch in shock, these guys were in the thick of it all.
Basically, this is the story of how 4 guys who grew up on the same block ended up on the same block on 9/11 and how they reacted. It's a great American story that needs to be told.
