Cooking is a skill that can be developed over a lifetime. Young people aged 10-15 get a head start in our fun, hands-on classes. We use high quality ingredients; learning essential cooking skills and techniques along the way. We will make a tasty baked penne pasta with homemade marinara and meatballs. We will also make a savory chicken stock to use in next week's soup. Students will make food to enjoy together at the end of class. They will also prepare extra food to share with the clients at the River City Food Bank.
Ages 10-15
