Basilicata is a mountainous region in southern Italy, nestled between Apulia and Campania. This region is known as the "cucina povera" (poor kitchen) having its own deep-rooted culinary dishes using simple ingredients to create delectable dishes. In this class Lucia will show you how to make pizza di patate - potato pizza; penne all'arrabbiata - pasta with spicy red sauce; spezzatino di maiale - an Italian pork stew, and miele e ricotta - honey and ricotta tart. Instructor: Lucia Oliverio
This is a demonstration style class.
Students will enjoy a sample of each recipe and a complimentary glass of wine will be offered to those 21 and over.
Cancellation Policy: Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable with less than 48 hours notice.
Complimentary parking is available for students in the Co-ops parking garage at 28th & S streets. Please do not park in the lot in front of the store.
