"Imagine C-SPAN being suddenly swarmed by the cast of SNL." That's how the Star Tribune described The Theater of Public Policy.
Each week, The Theater of Public Policy (T2P2 for short) features a live interview and audience Q&A with a policy maker, candidate for office, certified expert, or big thinker.
Then a cast of five of Minnesota's sharpest improvisers bring the whole conversation to life through entirely unscripted improv comedy theater.
- The show's host interviews a leading thinker on a big issue - Then a team of the Twin Cities' most talented improvisers use the conversation as inspiration for longform improv comedy - In the second half of the show, the guest answers questions from the audience - The show wraps up with more no-holds-barred unscripted comedy
No two performances are the same but the results are always surprise and delight. See a short video about how The Theater of Public Policy works at: http://vimeo.com/65870159
Finnegans Food Drive The Theater of Public Policy is thrilled to be partnering with Finnegans. Together we'll drink beer and feed the hungry. Bring a non-perishable canned good to any T2P2 show at the Bryant Lake Bowl and receive $2 off a Finnegans that night! We'll put all the donations in a barrel, and the night it's filled to the top, everyone in the audience will get a free Finnegans!
Season Passes Season passes are $85 for all 8 shows. Tickets must be picked up at least 5 minutes before show time or will be released to public. Purchase over the phone only. Box officers will take emails when selling season passes. Season passes will not be a physical item, but names will be included on a will call list for all shows.
