Creative Writing Forum 2019 - Metropolitan Community College

The MCC Creative Writing Forum is a two-day event to promote original, inspired writing in our college and community, as well as support aspiring and professional authors. The event includes sessions from keynote presenter, F. Douglas Brown, and multiple breakout sessions offered by local and regional professionals. Friday night's opening session includes an all-out poetry slam with prizes for registrants only. The Forum is organized by Metropolitan Community Colleges English Department, and is held on the historic Fort Omaha campus at 32nd and Sorensen Parkway.

Douglas Brown Open mic hosted by Todd Robinson Saturday Oct. 26, 2019 All activities at the MCC Fort Omaha Campus, Building #10, First Floor 8:30 AM to 4 PM Breakout sessions: Craft Talks, Readings, and Generative Workshops Headline Presenters: Kassandra Montag, Natalia Trevino, Kevin Clouther Keynote talk with F. Douglas Brown
