Opera Inspired in Spain
"Opera Inspired in Spain" is a recital for voice and piano showcasing operatic world class artists from La Scala, Teatro Real de Madrid and Teatro Colon de Buenos Aires, in an evening of opera scenes by Gaetano Donizetti, Guiseppe Verdi and the Brazilian composer and contemporary of Verdi, Antônio Carlos Gomes, whom take their inspiration from Romantic Era Spain.
With pre concert lecture starting at 7 PM, imparted by opera expert and connoisseur Simon Saad.
Free wine reception will follow the recital

Featuring soprano Olga Bakali,mezzo Anna Tonna, tenor Miguel Borrallo, baritone Gustavo Ahualli, bass Luiz Ottavio Faria and pianist Lucy Arner. Pre Concert lecture by Simon Saad.
"Opera inspired in Spain" is a benefit concert for Hispanic Culture Arts, a New York based arts education organization dedicated to bringing bi -lingual arts education curriculum to students of the Greater New York Area.
