NEW PERSPECTIVES - SHORTS PACKAGE
Sister-Siqi Song
-A man remembers his childhood memory of growing up with an annoying little sister in 1990s China. How would his life have been if things had gone differently?

Umbra- Saeed Jafarian
-A few minutes after midnight, the young lady realizes that her partner disappeared after they had sex. She goes out worried to seek her partner in the darkness of streets.

A la deriva- Paula Cury Melo
-In the Dominican Republic, sexual education is almost nonexistent, teen pregnancy rates are staggeringly high, and abortion is illegal in all circumstances. Adrift seeks to expose layers of social issues including disregard for women's rights, toxic masculinity, domestic violence, and a political system coerced by religion. But even as they face tremendous adversity, expecting mothers as young as 14 reveal a fierce determination and a collective hope for a better future.

ANNA-Dekel Berenson
- Anna, a middle-aged single mother, lives in a small industrial town in war-torn Eastern Ukraine. She works in a meat processing plant, lives in a rundown apartment and dreams for a better life for herself and her 16-year-old daughter. Desperate for a change, she is lured by a radio advertisement to attend a party organized for foreign men who are touring the country, searching for love.

Valerie- Stacey Souther
-VALERIE is a documentary about legendary actress Valerie Perrine. From her Academy Award Nominated and Cannes winning role as 'Honey Bruce' in the film LENNY, to her iconic role as 'Eve Teschmacher' in the original SUPERMAN - Valerie has been an inspiration for women, fellow actors and the public at large. This film sets out to explore Valerie's amazing career and personal life, and offer an intimate look behind the curtain of one of our generations most respected and epochal actresses.
