7th Annual Michigan Burlesque Festival
The Michigan Burlesque Festival started in 2012 with the the intent to bring some of the worlds most unique performers to Detroit in hopes of reuniting the traditional concepts of original burlesque theater, where dancers and vaudevillians shared a stage to provide well rounded and entertaining and sexy comedic show.
In addition to performances on the main stage this year, the Tangent Gallery will also be lined with artists and merchants throughout the night, displaying and selling their crafts, apparel, treats and more. Saturday afternoon will also include classes on the arts and styles of burlesque. Class schedules TBA.
Headliners will be joined by a cast of over 40 talented burlesque performers from around the world, as well as the amazingly witty and sensational Foxy Tann, who will be your host for the weekend.
Headliners for this years festival include:
** Miss Pussykatt "Shes so hot she could even make the devil purr". This Michigan burly babe is an International touring performance artist and circus hellion, and founder and director of the Daredevil Circus Company and director at The Danger Damsels Burlesque Revue. Accomplished fire performer, aerial artist, burlesque and sideshow seductress, she has been featured on America's Got Talent, seen on stage with Motorhead, NIN and the Dresden Dolls.
** Redbone "The hottest thing both sides of the Mason Dixon Line"
is internationally known, Minnesota Grown. RedBone has been performing since 2005 as one third of Foxy Tann and Wham Bam Thank You Ma'ams who won the 2006 "Best Troupe" and "Most Vegas" titles, and is the current reigning "Princess of Burlesque" and runner-up of Miss Exotic Word at the Burlesque Hall of Fame's, Miss Exotic World Competition. She has wowed audiences with her one of kind, whirlwind performance style in such exotic places as Chicago (Superstars of Burlesque), Denver (Lannies Clocktower), Los Angeles (Margret Cho's The Sensuous Woman), San Francisco (Little Minsky's & Hubba Hubba Review), and London (Immodesty Blaize's Burlesque Review).
** Tigger! has performed in NYC since 1988 & around the world since 1993. A pioneer in the 1990s burlesque renaissance who won the 1st-ever "King of Boylesque/Mr. Exotic World" title at Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas 2006. He won numerous Golden Pastie Awards, including "Most Likely to Get Shut Down by the Law" & "Most Unpredictable Performer." His act was banned in Rome in 2011. He has performed all around Europe, Australia, North America, and South America.

Miss Nude Universe 1975, Tiffany Carter began her Burlesque career at the infamous Pink Pussycat in Hollywood, California. An active, in-demand entertainer with Sparky Blaines American Showgirl agency, Tiffany toured the U.S., Canada, and Japan from the late 1960s through the 1980s.
Throughout her 20+ years in Burlesque, she has been a muse to MIT-trained engineer-turned-Burlesque costumer Bobby Gersten and performed alongside such legendary performers as Tempest Storm, Blaze Starr, Satans Angel, Kitten Natividad, Tura Satana, Delilah Jones, Shannon Doah, Akiko OToole, Machine Gun Kelly, Crystal Blue, Lovey Goldmine, and Teri Starr.
