Featuring 75 paintings by Impressionist masters such as Caillebotte, Degas, Manet, Renoir, and Seurat, this stylish exhibition shows the fascinating relationship between art and fashion - revealing how the early avant-garde artists embraced fashion trends to capture modern life on canvas.
This viewing is part of The Art Institute's Dressed to the Nines series - special themed evenings that celebrate fashion trends of 19th-century Paris. The trend on August 3rd is bows - so feel free to dress along with the theme or simply raid your closet for your favorite fashionable attire.
