The Local Music Scene is a rotating cast of some of the best improvisors in the Twin Cities. Every month for over 4 years they've used the music of local artists as inspiration for improvised scenes.
August's guest will be Russ Parrish, an award-winning singer/songwriter Nashville native who moved to Minnesota in 2016. Influenced by artists and bands like Ed Sheeran, The Beatles, and NEEDTOBREATHE, his desire is to write and play songs of hope, bringing everyone together with his music.
Russ has won several awards including the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest, and the Minnesota State Fair Amateur Talent Contest.
His music focuses on the journey between faith and doubt, seeking the light of hope wherever darkness is found. Join the journey in his songs...
