Whoa. A night of two high-octane, audience-fueled improv shows. The peak of entertainment? The apex of hilarity? We'll let you be the judge of that come June 22 (but if you can't wait that long the answer is yes).
LOUNGE LIZZY is your chance to experience a new kind of lounge singer.
The paradoxical love child of Jessica Rabbit and Ron Burgundy, Lounge Lizzy performs Vegas-level magic by spinning audience suggestions into spontaneous songs. Musical improv has never been so sultry, nor this scintillatingly silly.
Joined by stage manager Guy and keyboardist Doctor Jazz, Lounge Lizzy treats every audience to a skillful balance of suggestive and sardonic. Laugh and be wowed at delicious musical moments never to be heard again.
Starring Erin Kennedy as the titular Lounge Lizzy. Featuring John Hilsen on the keys and Eric Thompson as Stage Manager Guy.
THE LIFE ROBOTIC features a lovable robot trying its best to live a normal human life. You must help it succeed-- the only lines of dialogue the robot can say are what the audience texts in on their phones throughout the show. You are its programmers and must teach it what it means to be human (or just try to get it to say whatever funny things you come up with). Can the audience succeed in guiding the robot through normal everyday life without blowing its cover?
All improvised. All fun. All hilarious. All standard text messaging rates may apply.
Starring the world-class ensemble cast of Nora Coyle, Michael Rogers, Duck Washington, Erin Kennedy, Emily Lindholm, Drew Tenenbaum, and Anna Tobin. Directed by John Hilsen and assistant director Shelby Schroeder
