In an intimate listening room that combines the refinement of a concert hall with the comfort of a living room, Caffe Lena is devoting the 2nd Tuesday of each month to America's most original contribution to the musical palate, JAZZ. This continuing series is hosted by resident composer, pianist and jazz master, Chuck Lamb, with support from music producer Joel Moss. JAZZ at Caffe Lena features collaborations between Lamb and internationally touring jazz artists, as well as many of the Capital Region's best.

Chuck Lamb, who has been a member of the Brubeck Brothers Quartet since 2002, is not only an exciting and emotive pianist in his own right, but also a prolific composer of jazz, fusion, classical and world music. Most recently, Chuck and his band have released a CD of his original acoustic fusion music, titled North By Northeast. The CD has been receiving airplay on major jazz stations and garnering new fans and rave reviews worldwide.

Saxophonist Ken Gioffre has recorded for the Sony, Universal, Blue Note-Manhattan, MCA, Denon, and Sire labels among many others. Gioffre appeared nightly on the television show New York at Night in addition to appearing on The Tonight Show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Regis and Kelly, NBCs Today Show, Fox and Friends, A&Es Breakfast With The Arts, Sinbads Soul Music Festival and BBCs Electric Proms. He has performed in such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, The Hollywood Bowl, Royal Albert Hall and Lincoln Center.
