YYSO Chamber Recital
William Penn Senior High School
Doors open at 2:30PM
Concert starts at 3:00PM
During the 2018-2019 season, the YYSO has launched three small chamber ensembles. These ensembles are coached by music educators and York Symphony Orchestra members from the York Community. We would like to invite everyone to the recital to help support the students have worked very hard to prepare their repertoire.
The Ensembles:
String Octet coached by David Diehl
Brass quintet coached by Gregory Lauer
Woodwind Quartet coached by Deborah Donovan
Tickets are required for this event.
Mission:
The YYSO creates a unique opportunity for elite youth musicians to learn a challenging repertoire with peers, perform in a variety of venues and expand their perspectives of what it means to be a musician.
