On Tuesday May 21 at 6:30 The Rochmon Record Club will converge to listen and learn about Paul McCartneys 2nd album after leaving The Beatles, Ram." Ram is credited to both Paul & Linda and while it was critically poorly received Ram went to #2 in the US, #1 in the UK and provided McCartney his first solo #1 single, Uncle Albert and Admiral Halsey. Paul was onto something, channeling the future and pointing to where music would be 48 years after "Ram's" release. Ram is one of those albums that gets better with age and sounds as vital today as when it was recorded. Tickets are available at caffelena.org
The Ram Listening Party begins at 7pm with a live audio & video presentation by Chuck Vosganian aka Rochmon. A Rochmon Record Club Listening Party is meant to inform and deepen our understanding of the history of the individual performers, songs and the stories that went into the making of this classic album.
The Caffe Lena kitchen will be open for light food and drinks. Alcohol will not be served during this event.
