Experience Architecture Week: Drawing Safari
Learn about architecture through drawing--it's a great way to get to know a city and its buildings!
This year, AIACV teams up with Sacramento Modern to draw modern concrete buildings. Get ready with a friendly tutorial, then disperse into small groups to draw. Afterwards, the group will reconvene and enjoy lunch while sharing their drawings.
This is a great event for families. Children and students are encouraged to participate. Please bring a chair, hat, sunscreen, a bag lunch and drinks. Paper and pencils will be provided.
Sun, Oct 12 , 9 am - 1 pm, $5 Multiple locations. Event starts at Crocker Park, Corner of 3rd and O streets, Sacramento.
Sponsored by: Milgard Windows & Doors, Inside Publications, Mohawk, SD Deacon/ Hogue, and SMUD.

Experience Architecture Week is a public-outreach event designed to facilitate greater transparency with the public in how architects create our built environment and how it impacts their daily lives; to create an ongoing dialogue to inform a distinct, regional, architectural identity; and to highlight existing relationships between the region and its architecture. The 2014 Experience Architecture Week is scheduled from October 10th-October 19th.
This year's event features eleven events over 10 days, and features the region's first Canstruction build benefiting the Sacramento Food Bank. Click here to learn more about Experience Architecture events.
