The Local Presents: Randall Clay Benefit featuring Ashley McBryde, Jason Charles Miller and William Clark Green
Ashley McBryde:  A vocalist and songwriter with a touch of rock & roll swagger, a honky tonk heart, and a lyrical voice that puts a modern-day spin on classic country themes, Ashley McBryde put in years of hard work before becoming an overnight success. Hailing from Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, McBryde first displayed her interest in music when she was three years old and tried to play her father's guitar. After repeatedly telling young Ashley to leave the instrument alone, her parents decided the best solution was to get her a guitar of her own. After learning to play, McBryde stuck with the guitar, and at 17 she wrote her first song. Initially, she was shy about sharing her work, and it wasn't until she enrolled at Arkansas State University (where she played in the marching band) that she began playing her songs for people outside her immediate family.

In 2016, McBryde dropped an eight-song EP, Jalopies & Expensive Guitars, that helped build a buzz about her music, and country star Eric Church began singing her praises, describing her as a "whiskey-drinkin' badass" and joining her on-stage to duet on her song "Bible and a .44." After Church gave McBryde his endorsement, more and more people began to take notice, and she finally broke through with the single "A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega," which found an appreciative audience on streaming services and led to her making her first appearance on the Grand Ol' Opry in June 2017. A year later, she returned with her debut full-length album, Girl Going Nowhere, which included "A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega."

Jason Charles Miller:   is an accomplished and multi-faceted performer, with more than two decades of professional experience as a musician, songwriter, singer, and voice actor.
Originally from Clifton, VA, Jason now lives in Los Angeles, CA where he owns and runs the successful recording complex, Central Command Studios.  Jason has co-written songs with artists Marilyn Manson, Billy Ray Cyrus, Rickey Medlocke [Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot], Charlie Starr [Blackberry Smoke], Ben Moody [Evanescence], Driver Williams [Eric Church Band], Chuck Goff [Toby Keith Band], Otherwise, Rev Theory and living legend Paul Anka.  Songs hes written can currently be heard on HBOs True Blood and Hung, WWE Smackdown, The NFL Today, Dateline NBC, and the wildly popular web series Critical Role (main theme), The Guild, Loremasters, Callisto 6, Co-Optitude, Signal Boost, Dick and Johnson, The New Adventures of Peter and Wendy, Deborah Ann Wolls Relics and Rareities and the official theme song for International Tabletop Day in 2017 and 2018.  Jason was the musical mastermind behind the critically acclaimed and Streamy award nominated series Muzzled the Musical, writing every piece of music for the show and co-authoring the lyrics to every song.  Jason co-wrote the smash single Cruisin for a Bruisin for the Disney Channel hit movie soundtrack, Teen Beach Movie.  The soundtrack was #1 on the Billboard charts and Cruisin for a Bruisin was nominated for a Radio Disney Award.  Jason also penned the all star collaboration "Forever In Our Hearts," a song to benefit the victims of the 2004 tsunami in South Asia which included Brian McKnight, Mya, Jacoby Shaddix [Papa Roach], Nate Dogg and many more.  Hes produced songs for artists as varied as Billy Ray Cyrus, Tina Guo, James LaBrie of Dream Theater, Felicia Day, Godhead, Psyclon 9, and Bret Michaels.

William Clark Green:  A singer and songwriter whose slice-of-life tunes and rough, heartfelt delivery earned him a following in the Southwest, William Clark Green was born in Flint, Texas on May 19, 1986. When Green was 12, his family moved to College Station, Texas, and he began taking guitar lessons at church. Green's tastes then leaned to hard rock, but when his father played him Willis Alan Ramsey's classic 1972 debut album, the youngster became interested in the Texas singer/songwriter tradition. Green immersed himself in the work of Robert Earl Keen, Jerry Jeff Walker, and Pat Green, and began writing songs of his own. He eventually enrolled in college after jobs as a ranch hand and working in a feedlot didn't work out for him. But he was more interested in music than academics, and it took him six years to complete his Agriculture Economics degree at Texas Tech. Green spent nearly as much time playing open mikes and acoustic gigs as he did studying, and by 2008 he was playing a weekly residency at the Blue Light in Lubbock. That same year, he released his debut album, Dangerous Man. The album Misunderstood followed in 2010, but it was 2013's Rose Queen that became Green's breakthrough. The album was a solid success in Texas, where the songs "She Likes the Beatles" and "It's About Time" earned significant airplay. The album eventually peaked at 34 on the U.S. Country Albums chart as Green's reputation grew beyond his home state. And in 2015, Green dropped his fourth album, Ringling Road. "Sympathy," "Sticks and Stones," and the title tune were all radio hits in Texas, and the album sold even better than Rose Queen, climbing to 18 on the U.S. Country Albums chart and going all the way to number one on the Heatseekers chart, a listing for new artists on the rise. Following the 2016 concert set Live at Gruene Hall, Green returned in 2018 with Hebert Island.
