On Tuesday April 16 at 6:30 The Rochmon Record Club will converge to listen and learn about Creams 2nd album, Disraeli Gears at Caffe Lena, 47 Phila Street in Saratoga Springs. Cream, often hailed as Rock & Rolls first power trio and first super group featured Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker. Disraeli Gears has influenced thousands of bands and millions of musicians. Released in November 1967 Disraeli Gears includes the Cream songs Sunshine of Your Love, Strange Brew, SWLABR and Tales of Brave Ulysses as well as 7 others. Tickets are available at caffelena.org
The Listening Party begins at 7pm with a live audio & video presentation by Chuck Vosganian aka Rochmon. A Rochmon Record Club Listening Party is meant to inform and deepen our understanding of the history of the individual performers, songs and the stories that went into the making of this classic album.
The Caffe Lena kitchen will be open for light food and drinks. Alcohol will not be served during this event.
