Enter the world of Little Earthquakes, the Tori Amos album released in 1992 and known for its raw emotion, evocative whimsy, and sonic beauty. The songs are rendered here through the queer lens of performance artist Justin Leaf, with George Maurer on piano, Jenny Case on bass guitar, and Dustin Jensen on drums.

Justin Leaf (vocals) is a performance artist based in Minneapolis. His work spans dance, theatre, and vocal performance and flirts with uncategorizable gender-play, all genres of popular song, and the in-betweens of classical reverence and queer radicalism. A graduate of The Juilliard School, Justin has received the 2001 Zaraspe Prize for Outstanding Choreography, a 2007 Minnesota SAGE Award for Best Performance, a 2009 McKnight Fellowship for Dancers, and a 2014 Next Step Fund Grant for vocal performance. George Maurer (piano) is best known for his work as a performer, arranger, music director and composer - talents that have taken him all over the world. He has performed with Eric Clapton, shared the stage with Bruno Mars, and has composed for renowned musicians from Buddy Holly's Crickets to symphonies across the US. George was awarded a McKnight Composers Fellowship in 2014 and currently music directs the Tony and Grammy-awarded original cast of Broadway's Jersey Boys in "The Midtown Men." In the midst his always-full itinerary of jazz, pop and big band performances, George is working on Empire Builder, a modern musical telling the story of a Native American man who has been called back to the reservation by his dying grandfather and his transformative journey by train. Jenny Case (bass guitar, keys, backup vocals) is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer and teacher. She currently plays bass with the Twin Cities punk-pop staples, The Flamin' Oh's, and performs with many other bands and productions in the area. Additionally, she is the Founder/Executive Director of She Rock She Rock, a Minnesota-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls, women, and gender non-binary and trans folks through the art of music. For more information, visit jennycase.com.

Dustin Jensen (percussion) is a Twin Cities born producer and multi-instrumentalist. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Dustin has performed and recorded in Nashville, New York, Los Angeles, Boston, the United Kingdom, and Southwest Asia. Living in St. Paul, he continues to write and record, collaborate on other artists' projects, and brainstorm ideas for a great podcast. Say hello at coppertunes.com.
