African-American R&B and blues musician, author, actor and bandleader, Daryl Davis is known for his energetic style of Boogie-woogie piano. Davis has rocked stages large and small across the globe playing with such musicians as Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, B.B. King Bruce Hornsby, and Bill Clinton. Davis is equally famous for convincing more than 200 members of the KKK to radically change their views on race. His efforts to improve race relations have been reported on by media such as CNN and the Washington Post.
This event will be an intimate evening of music and conversation with a great artist who will show us how he changes lives for the better.
