Slow Burn Burlesque
Slow Burn Burlesque is the most thrilling show in New Orleans! Combining classic style and glamour with punk rock attitude, and rock and roll fury, Slow Burn sets stages on fire with outrageous antics, glamorous routines, and hilarious behavior. Each show is bursting with over the top entertainment provided by our seductive core cast of performers and special guests from around the world, all to the quakin' sounds of our live band, This Stunted Sextette.
The summer is hot, but Slow Burn in even hotter, and on Saturday August 17th we're going to take the stage of the Howlin' Wolf with steamy striptease, amazing variety, wicked comedy, and rockin' music. Plus, we have two exciting and innovative guests joining us to increase the debauchery, Charlotte Treuce and Little Luna!
Charlotte Treuce, who has been described as a "crown jewel in the flourishing Pacific Northwest burlesque scene", is new to the New Orleans burlesque glitterati, and she's been a very welcome addition. She revels in the classic, and has a deep respect for the glory days of burlesque, which is evident in every one of her performances. Don't miss this beautiful bombshell performing with Slow Burn for the first time ever!
In addition, we are happy to have back with us, Little Luna, The Burlesque Barber. Little Luna is a veteran of Baltimore's intriguing and avant garde burlesque community, where she introduced Charm City and the country to her unique style of sexy, funny, and even macabre storytelling through the titillating art of striptease. Luna is now making a name for herself in New Orleans, which is the new town she fell in love with.
Also, in the house will be our core cast of sexy and exciting women.
Our co-producer, Ginger Licious will make your head swivel 360 degrees as she dazzles you with her death defying acrobatic skills and sensually seductive striptease.
Roxie le Rouge, the girl with the best booty in the Big Easy, will make you go slack jawed and dumbfounded with her graceful and exotic moves.
Ruby Rage, The Country Cutie, is going to make you scream and shout with her bad behavior and Southern Charm.
The Lady Lucerne will be rejoining Slow Burn Burlesque after a brief hiatus and we are over joyed to have her back. Lucerne is going to make your eyes pop out of your head with her boundary busting and super naughty style of burlesque!
Our very irreverant emcee, Ben Wisdom, will be in the house to keep the show moving between acts with his unique style of dirty humor and biting wit. Get ready to laugh, blush, and shout with joy as Ben Wisdom leads you on a dirty journey to burlesque salvation.
All of our acts will be accompanied by the cool sounds of This Stunted Sextette, led by Dr. Sick. Sick and his demented followers in the Sextette will keep the tassels twirling with Rock and Roll, Jazz, Swing, Blues, Punk, Gypsy and more.
