BAND Cabaret is an ongoing Twin Cities cabaret that focuses on serving those that serve others. Through The BAND Group's mission to bring awareness and exposure to other nonprofits, every night brings a new nonprofit to new audiences, connecting performers and people with the good work that's being performed in our community. January is going to bring an exciting list of talented artists in the Twin Cities!
On Monday, January 28, the dazzling Poppy Raucous brings a slew of her friends in the Twin Cities Burlesque scene for an intimately revealing night of songs, comedy, aerial, and areoles. Performers scheduled to appear include Baabara, L'Assy Rabid, Glitter FUCK, Harrie Bradshaw, Betty Cakes, JuJu C Cummings, Jolie Meshbesher, and Julia Amundson.
Please remember to tip your performers! This is a burlesque show after all.
In keeping with the mission of BAND Cabaret, this cabaret will spotlight the work of the Sexual Violence Center, whose mission is to support everyone affected by sexual violence, regardless of when it happened. Additionally, they provide respectful, confidential services to survivors, their friends, and their families free of charge and open to people of all genders. **PANTY DRIVE EVENT**
In support of the Sexual Violence Center the performers are asking that audience members bring new, packaged, cotton underwear to the performance; which will supply the organization with underwear for victims of assault to wear while they are being processed and cared for in hospitals.
