First renowned as a pioneer of French horn, David Amram has mastered a variety of instruments and is a virtuoso on piano, numerous flutes and whistles, percussion, and dozens of folkloric instruments from 25 countries. His integration of jazz, folklore, and world music produce a sound thats both masterful and original. In the past hes collaborated with Leonard Bernstein, Dizzy Gillespie, Langston Hughes, Dustin Hoffman, Willie Nelson, Sir James Galway, and many others.
