Reading Rainboobs Burlesque - Opening Books, Removing Clothes
At 9pm on Tuesday, June 11th Excelsior Burlesque is proud to bring you a dirty tribute to the children's show that sparked flights of fancy with each episode with "Reading Rainboobs: Opening Books Removing Clothes"
Co-producers Moe Cheezmo (who, at some point, majored in readin') and Ruby Solitaire (who lives in fantasy world all her own) have put together a stellar lineup of performers who will demonstrate exactly why reading is FUN-damental. The show features the cotton-candy dream of Hotsy Totsy Burlesque, Cherry Pitz, as well as Mary Cyn of Epic Win (herself an author), and a recent transplant from the Big Easy, Moxie Sazerac! We'll also show you how much we love Coco Te Amo (and how much she loves you) and get a downright wild with Zoe Zigfield. The words will flow like wine, and the wine will flow like cheap bourbon, all in service of our second-favorite pastime (you can likely guess the first).
Hotter than sex in the school library (what, didn't everybody?) and far less likely to result in paper cuts, "Reading Rainboobs" brings you some of the funniest ladies in burlesque as we explore gems from our childhoods and formative years (and boy, what forms they ended up being!). These are the books taught us to use the imaginations that later became oh-so-dirty . . . and we want to share them with you!
