Folk legend, Peter Yarrow, founder of Peter, Paul & Mary, is returning to Caffe Lena for two shows! As an artist and activist, Peter Yarrow's gifts are significant. He has written some of the most influential songs in the folk world and dedicated his time and talent over the years to equal rights, peace-building, education, preservation of the environment, and more. Just as Peter Paul & Mary used their music as a platform for advocacy, Peter has harnessed music to unite hearts in common purpose, knowing that when music brings people together, it has a unique ability to catalyze and hasten positive change.
This show will launch Caffe Lena's Folk Heritage Series. Thanks to generous support from The Douglas A Mercer Foundation, The Folk Heritage Series preserves and honors American Folk Music by presenting performers who have made a significant impact on the genre.
