Meetup Improv Workshop

Tip your toe in to the exhilarating world of improvisation! Over the duration of the workshop we shall explore the principals of improv as well have fun with scenes and games.
No prior experience is necessary.

Q. Is improv about being funny?
A. No definitely not! Ever tried to be funny and it just didn't happen? Comedy is a by product of improv, so there is never any pressure on us to be funny!
Q. I'm really young/old, is this class for me?
A. One of the wonderful things about improv is we are not restricted by our age, gender or ethnicity. An improv class is a supportive environment for people to learn and express themselves. Likewise we get to play characters from all walks of life.
Q. I'm shy and nervous, is this for me?
A. Most definitely yes! I was once very shy and introverted and I credit improv with completely changing that! The workshop is a very supportive, encouraging environment. No one is made to do anything he/she is not comfortable with.
