Chicagoland, 1979: In this too-good-to-be-true story of one boy's life in an interracial family, James Anthony Zoccoli recalls growing up as a half-Italian, half-Polish kid who wants to be Black when his White mom marries an African-American man.  Hilarity ensues!

"Zoccoli's precious and enthusiastic childlike warmth is the thread that endears you to his story and overshadows its painful revelations."- Chicago Stage Review
