Re-introducing the folk revival's old-timey style to today's folk audience, a Wiyos' show ranges from riotous rural novelty songs to Vaudeville, early swing, surf harmonies, and any other vintage sound that catches their fancy. They're theatrical, funny, and almost athletic in their approach.
In their early days in the Wiyos busked across the United States spending time in New Orleans. They were launched onto the national stage in 2009 when they were asked to tour with Bob Dylan as his opening act.
