Local Chef Rick Mahan has always embraced cooking with seasonal, local and organic ingredients. He was also one of the pioneers in the Green Restaurants Alliance Sacramento. Join this acclaimed owner and chef of The Waterboy and OneSpeed restaurants, as he demonstrates how to make some of his favorites: vegetable minestrone; classic chicken soup; thick and hearty crushed potato-leek soup, and New England style fish chowder. This master chef has something for everyone!

This is a demonstration style cooking class.
Students will enjoy a taste of each recipe, and a complimentary glass of wine will be offered to students 21 and over.

Complimentary parking is available for students in the Co-op's parking garage at 28th & S streets. Please do not park in the lot in front of the store.
