Sweet and spicy, creamy and crunchy curries are an explosion of flavors and textures. We'll create vegan curries and accompanying dishes: learn to make freshly roasted and ground garam masala; dal tadka; aloo palak - a potato spinach curry; vegetable biryani made authentically with caramelized onions and layered vegetables, and carrot kheer with cashew milk, saffron and cardamom.
Instructor: Shankari Easwaran
This is a hands on cooking class with a vegan and gluten free menu.
Students will enjoy a taste of each recipe, and a complimentary glass of wine will be offered to students 21 and over.
