As the second woman ever to be appointed to the Supreme Court of the United States, RBG has played a critical role in crafting the legal precedents that defend abortion access in the United States.
NARAL is celebrating all things RBG this year. Our Power of Choice 2018 keynote speaker Irin Carmon is the co-author of "Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg." Known for her smarts and feminist bona-fides, Irin has reported extensively on reproductive rights from all over the country. She's been a national reporter for MSNBC and NBC News, a staff writer at Salon and Jezebel, and is currently a contributing writer to the Washington Post.
