Cowboy Camembert
Title Includes
Reclamation: The Rise at Standing Rock In 1876, Sitting Bull, the well known Native warrior, spiritual leader and chief of his people, the Great Sioux Nation has a profound vision that seven generations from his time, the young people of the tribe will rise up, unite all the Native Nations and come together to fight and protect Mother Earth by killing the 'black snake.' Seven generations later in 2016, at Standing Rock, North Dakota, the young people, the '7th generation', of many tribes unite the Native Nations for the first time in 150 years and rise up in spiritual solidarity to non-violently fight for Unci Maka (Mother Earth) against the 'black snake'-- the 3.8 billion dollar Dakota Access Oil Pipeline (DAPL). These water protectors join together to honor their destiny as they pray and protect Mother Earth by leading a peaceful movement of resistance against DAPL which awakens the world. By standing their ground on their treaty land, by recovering and honoring their sacred, and by leading this profound environmental movement these brave water protectors find their voices and reclaim themselves.
Cowboy Camembert To honor the memory of her late husband and get closure, Gisèle travels back to Canada. Joined by her daughter Candy, the two women embark for an artistic trip upon the roads of Alberta. Along the way they meet Jacques, a native american actor who agrees to accompany them in their journey.
