Kathleen Gorey-McSorley
At only 18 years of age Kathleen already has international experience having performed in Ireland, Scotland and the USA as well as various parts of Canada. Among her many accomplishments a couple of highlights are competing at the Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann in Co. Offaly 2008 and again in Co. Cavan, Ireland in 2010 and the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Championships in Ottawa in both 2009 and 2010. It was also a distinct honour to appear in two concerts with Ashley MacIsaac in January 2010. Kathleen showcased at "Contact East" in Antigonish in September 2010. She released her second CD "Ceol Binn" (Irish for "Sweet Music") in July 2010. This CD was nominated for an ECMA award as Roots/Traditional Solo Recording of the Year.
