Tonight The Rochmon Record Club invites one and all to listen, learn about and seat-boogie to a selected retrospective of Michael Jackson's dance repertoire.
Those of us of a certain age grew up with Michael Jackson. For many of us there was never a time we were not listening to or watching Michael share his prodigious talent with the world. Michael and his producer, Quincy Jones, combined Funk, Soul, Rock and Jazz to create a phenomenon in popular music. The Rochmon Record Club kicks off summer with a Michael Jackson Dance Party featuring 14 songs by the King of Pop. There's no better way to kick off a long-delayed summer in Saratoga Springs!
The Rochmon Record Club Listening Party begins at 7pm with a live audio & video presentation by Chuck Vosganian aka Rochmon. A Rochmon Record Club Listening Party is meant to inform and deepen our understanding of the history of the individual performers, the songs and the stories that went into the making this iconic album.
The Caffe Lena kitchen will be open for light food and drinks. Alcohol will not be served during this all-ages community event. The Rochmon Record Club is presented in partnership with Universal Preservation Hall and underwritten by LooKTV Online, Turning Point Chiropractic, Hydroshield and Saratoga Guitar.
