As the fourth child in a famously musical family (James, Kate, Alex and Hugh Livingston) Livingston Taylor got an early start on a career that has now spanned 50 years. His well-crafted, introspective and original songs include top-forty hits "I Will Be in Love with You" and "I'll Come Running," as well as "I Can Dream of You" and "Boatman" both recorded by his brother James. His ever-expanding repertoire includes folk, pop, gospel, and jazz along with tender ballads.
He is a natural performer, peppering his shows with personal stories, anecdotes and ineffable warmth that connects him to his fans. His relaxed on-stage presence belies the depth of his musical knowledge, and fans might just as often be treated to a classic Gershwin or something from the best of Broadway.
As a full professor at Berklee College of Music since 1989, Livingston has mentored the next generation of musicians, helping to grow the careers of artists such as Gavin DeGraw, Susan Tedeschi, John Mayer and Seth Glier.
Opening the show will be singer-songwriter Sophie Buskin.
