Peter & Jim Mayer Benefit Concert Tacoma
Join us June 20th at the Trinity Lutheran Church Parkland for a benefit concert performed by renowned artists Peter Mayer & Jim Mayer. Luther's Stable will open the evening that begins at 7 PM.
Peter is a guitarist, songwriter, touring musician, and recording artist from Nashville. He has released 13 albums to date and tours year round with the Peter Mayer Group. Peter is the lead guitarist in Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band and has shared the stage with a variety of artists such as James Taylor, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Ringo Starr. As a young child in Tamilnadu India, where his parents were Lutheran Missionaries, Peter had a passion for music. Drawing musical influence from his upbringing, his music evokes melodic notes such as music and lyrics of the Beatles, traditional Indian music, church hymns and jazz standards.
Enjoy an evening with Peter & Jim Mayer and our own local(Renton) band Luther's Stable. Proceeds will support recovery efforts in the U.S. Virgin Islands after Hurricanes Irma & Maria devastated the islands in September 2017.
