Whats Your Story?, is an evening of cabaret featuring Susan Shehata, Jim Robinson, Dylan Fresco and Shea Halstead exploring culture, race, ethnicity, and sexuality. The performers will share personal stories, poetry, and music to weave a collective web of identity and self-discovery.

Featuring:
Susan Shehata, also known as The Space Guru™, is a nationally known Educator, Guide and Performing Artist, who specializes in helping people clear their hidden obstacles. She does that through Space Work, Holistic Wellness, Music & Theatre. Susan has recorded, toured and played the festival circuit with her kirtan band, Sitara & Kalyani with Pavan Kumar. Her most recent theatre piece, a solo show, At One, an Everywomans Journey to Self, explored dismantling the behavior patterns that create a life of suffering. Susans work has been featured in the Pioneer Press, on Fox Morning Show, KARE11 and in The Huffington Post and Elephant Journal. www.SusanShehata.com

Jim Robinson is an alumnus of the Brave New Workshop and the Disney Cruise Line's Off-Beat Comedy Club. Along with Dennis Curley, Jim is co-producer of Table Salt Productions.  He teaches a lot and can be seen onstage with The Theater of Public Policy. Jim hails from Riverside, California.  

Dylan Fresco is a theater artist and musician who works as a writer, performer, producer, and educator with a diverse array of arts and community partners. In his work, Dylan invites connections between people and communities through story, music, poetry and movement. Locally, Dylan has worked with Children's Theatre Company, The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, The Guthrie, Penumbra, Arts On Chicago, The St. Paul Jewish Community Center, United Theological Seminary, the Iraqi and American Reconciliation Project, and Minnesota Public Radio. Hes toured his solo plays to festivals and colleges across the country and shares his stories with organizations in Minnesota as cultural competency training tools. Each week, he's in schools with Upstream Arts, using the creative arts to activate and amplify the voice and choice of individuals with disabilities. Dylan is a graduate of Carleton College and the Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre.  www.dylanfresco.com

Shea Halstead is a dynamic and light-hearted creative entrepreneur. She performed from her late teens to early twenties, at the Childrens Theatre in Minneapolis, and the Landmark Theatre in St. Paul, with Fred & J.D. Steele. Her current focus is running her business, Pennie Overalls Cleaning Service, which she has grown over the last couple decades. She is also actively involved with Carifest, a grass-roots festival that celebrates Caribbean cultural heritage.
