Sean Rowe is on a journey of exploration and discovery in life and in music. He's a songwriter's songwriter with a voice that NPR's Bob Boylan describs as "a room-rattling baritone [that] demands attention." Growing up in Troy, NY, Rowe developed a love affair with nature that he explains "reaches far into my music, my personal life, and my spirituality." That love of nature, along with a deep and sympathetic understanding of the human condition, have inspired four critically acclaimed full-length albums, the latest of which, New Lore (ANTI- Records), was funded with support from his fans through a Kickstarter campaign.
Opener Maxwell Putnam makes his home in Nashville, where he has come to the attention of fans and critics following the release of his debut album, Ode To a Tinhorn. His literate, poetic, freewheeling lyrics have drawn comparisons to early Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan.
