Singer-songwriter Sawyer Fredericks was born with songs to sing. Growing up on a small family farm, Sawyer was given time and space to develop his art. Inspired by Americana artists like Ray LaMontagne, Sawyer showed a remarkable, natural talent for songwriting. As he learned to play in front of an audience at local farmers markets and at Caffe Lena's open mic, he showed that his songwriting skill was matched by unguarded, truthful performance, and the combination was stunning. Local fans watched in awe as he catapulted into the national spotlight with a win on NBC's The Voice.
The last couple years have shown Sawyer reasserting his independence, and developing into a mature artist with soulful, intense songs full of midnight thoughts and powerful emotion. His raw vocals and rock solid live performances have attracted an ever growing number of devoted fans of all ages, selling out shows throughout the US.
Sawyer's allegiance to the venue where he first cut his teeth remains strong and it's an honor and pleasure to have him back for a full weekend of intimate, solo performance five years after his first songs were heard in this room.
