Dr. Stuart Brown, founder of the National Institute for Play, presents the latest research from his bestselling book, "Play: How it Shapes the Brain, Opens the Imagination and Invigorates the Soul." Dr. Brown has spent his career conducting more the 6000 "play histories" of humans. He draws on clinical research and observations of animals, as well as advances in neuroscience and psychology, to explore the power of play in our everyday world.
