"Adirondack Angels - Legacy" is a collection of songs produced by twelve women based in New York's North Country. The album features country, bluegrass and gospel music, with some timeless classics and strong original songs. The singers are Julie Venne-Hogan, Peggy Lecuyer, Heather Richards, Jean Jenkins, Karen Ann McEvoy, Cathy Evans, Dona Frank-Federico, Georgia Goodnow, Marie Strong Case Monroe, Diana Ritchie-Williams, Caroline Mother Judge, and Melody Guarino.
Mel Guarino and The Bluebillies are hosting a concert in celebration of the recent release. Mel and the Bluebillies band (Mark Guarino on bass, John Kribs on guitar, Orion Kribs on mandolin and Frank Orsini on fiddle) will entertain with a set of new material, and then Mel will introduce our guest "Angels" for the event: Julie Venne-Hogan (with her brother Tom Venne from the legendary band Beartracks), Caroline MotherJudge, as well as the wonderful duo from the popular band The Nellies (Peggy Lecuyer and Karen Ann McEvoy).
