An amber smooth voice with subtle grit, driving guitar, and an unassuming stage presence create the backdrop for Griffin House's deliciously catchy and utterly personal original songs. With his most recent album, So On and So Forth, he reveals himself as a young family man and artist who is choosing sobriety and celebrating his path to success. A Nashville musician with a Midwestern upbringing, House launched into a music career as a college student after discovering Bruce Springsteen, Woody Guthrie, and the Mermaid Avenue albums by Wilco and Billy Bragg. In addition to several albums and a decade of national tours, House has served as an opening act for the Cranberries, Josh Ritter, John Mellencamp, Ron Sexsmith, and many others. His songs have been featured in many films and television shows.
