CAVE2: Christopher Harris Christopher Harris is a filmmaker whose films and video installations read African American historiography through the poetics and aesthetics of experimental cinema. His work employs manually and photo-chemically altered appropriated moving images, staged re-enactments of archival artifacts and interrogations of documentary conventions.
Cellular Cinema is proud to present its second annual Festival of Cinematic & Audio Visual Experimentation (CAVE) in the dark depths of early January, during some of the shortest days of the year, in one of the chilliest locales in the nation.
Descend with us, out of the winter cold, into the cozy shimmering darkness of the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater with special guest artists Guillaume Vallée from Montreal, Christopher Harris from Orlando, and Jesse McLean from Milwaukee, as well as a program of Arab American Experimental Filmmakers guest curated by MIZNA, and an evening of expanded cinema work performed by local artists.
