The MCC Creative Writing Forum is a two-day event to promote original, inspired writing in our college and community, as well as support aspiring and professional authors. The event includes sessions from keynote presenter, Hanif Willis-Abdurraqib, and multiple breakout sessions offered by local and regional professionals. Friday night's opening session features our keynote speaker, as well as an all-out poetry slam with prizes for registrants only. The Forum is organized by Metropolitan Community Colleges English Department, and is held on the historic Fort Omaha campus at 32nd and Sorensen Parkway.
