'18 Holocaust Cantata: Songs from the Camps
Based on original music sung by inmates in Holocaust concentration camps during the Holocaust, the cantata is an emotional, musical journey through one of the darkest episodes in human history. Working from translations of original Polish materials found in the archives of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. this chorale serves as a tribute to the 6 million Jews who were systematically persecuted and murdered as well as to the millions of other individuals the Nazi Party classified as "undesirables." Performed by Vesper Chorale, and conducted by Wishart Bell. This event is free to the public, but seating is limited, and an RSVP is required. The deadline to RSVP is March 30, and all RSVPs will receive a confirmation email that can serve as a ticket for admission. You can RSVP by one of the following ways:
