The Appleseed Collective is poised to become the new sound of string music. Riding the wave of the bluegrass revival into a strange new genre-bending territory, they explore the full range of dark and light, old and new, composition and improvisation in a deeply theatrical performance that transports audiences through time. The Michigan-based group plays everything from bluegrass barn burners, to old soul jazz, sparse mood pieces, and full band harmony singing. Their success is national, and it's organic. And we're absolutely thrilled to be bringing them to back to our stage following their very well received debut in our Bright New Music Series earlier this year.
