Sacramento is the City of Trees and we think the best way to celebrate our lovely canopy is to get outside, taking a tree tour in Midtown! Brought to you by the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op, Fleet Feet, and the Sacramento Tree Foundation, this FREE urban hike will start at the Co-op travel north on 27th through Winn Park up to Sutters Fort and Fleet Feet then back down 26th highlighting some of Sacramentos oldest residents, THE TREES! Join Certified Arborist, Pamela Sanchez, as we appreciate our tall, shady friends and learn more about tree identification, Sacramento's tree history, fun facts, and more.
Our walk will cover about 2.5 miles at a social pace. Snacks provided by the Co-op with a pit stop at Fleet Feet. Parking is available on the first level of the parking garage at 28th & S streets. After 6 pm, all levels of the garage are available.
