Since her head-first dive into the indie music world in 2009, Heather Maloney has taken her poetic and powerful folk-rock-jazz songs to more than 200 stages a year and has gotten the attention of top artists in the field. Tonight she is celebrating the release of a brand-new album on the prestigious Signature Sounds label.
Her rich and playful singing style and compassionate lyrics havean organic elegance that's hard to get out of your head. This past year she was nominated for an independent music award, chosen as an emerging artist at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, and was signed by Signature Sounds (Chris Smither, Lake Street Dive, Patty Larkin). The new album features guest appearances by the Young at Heart Chorus, Duke Levine, and her own band of Ken Maiuri and JJ O'Connell.
