"Eberhardt is better than ever, Steve McQueening his way into your heart at about ninety-eight miles an hour, kicking ass with fresh insight and new ways to lament old yearnings." Philly Rock Guide
Cliff's guitar and piano melodies range from pop to folk to old-style jazz, with lyrics that find fresh, incisive ways to address the familiar themes of life gone good and bad. Cliff was a driving force of the Greenwich Village New Folk movement and his songs have been covered by the likes of Richie Havens, Buffy St. Marie, Erasure, Lucy Kaplansky and the folk superstar band "Cry, Cry, Cry" (Dar Williams, Richard Shindell, Lucy Kaplansky).
His most recent venture involved composing original music for, and performing in, the Folger Shakespeare Library's production of The Taming of the Shrew in Washington, D.C. The show, which ran through the spring of 2012, was set in the American frontier of the 1800s. His score and performance received rave reviews.
Opener Louise Mosrie's latest album hit #1 on the Folk DJ charts, and she won prestigious songwriting competitions at Kerrville, Wildflowers, and Telluride folk festivals. She is based in Nashville.
